Cold Laundry is a London-based fashion brand founded in January 2019 by Cerise & Ola Alabi.

In a very short time, the brand has managed to reach a massive amount of followers with its work, mainly due to the clean and polished aesthetics accomplished with unique monochrome styles.

The London brand, with a physical store in Bethnal Green, has a particular image in terms of colours and textures, soft and pastel colour palettes dominate its collections. Cold Laundry does not use logos or prints, they make use of an oversized design pattern that increases its simplicity in a very flattering way. This wonderful signature style makes Cold Laundry a perfect choice for a modern and on point wardrobe.

Cold Laundry began with the philosophy of providing consumers with high quality and ethical products at an affordable price point with the aim of avoiding markets such as fast fashion, which as we already know, is currently the main contributor to textile contamination. The idea is that customers will buy good quality pieces in order to make their deterioration process longer, therefore avoiding the need for purchasing new clothes short term.

“We wanted to break the negative stigma attached to fast fashion by consciously making decisions to say no to unfair trade practices making our manufacturing process as clean and earth-friendly as possible.” – Cerise Alabi for Obui Amaechi

Cerise and Ola Alabi were very aware of eliminating gender labels in their collections, for this reason, each and every one of the designs is unisex, avoiding limitations and standards, making the identity seal inclusive and unitary.
