Summer ’21 is around the corner, and we all know what that means.

Now that we got the meaning of Hot Girl Summer out of the way, let’s dig into what comes along with it in 2021
Being a Ganni Girl.
Leopard spotted, tiger striped, and flower dappled head turning dresses that make people stop and stare.
Founded in the year 2000 by Frans Truelsen, Ganni is a Danish fashion label that has grown precipitously over the last few years
They started off as a cashmere label and in 2009 were taken over by husband-and-wife duo, creative director Ditte Reffstrup and CEO Nicolaj Reffstrup. They completely rejuvenated the brand.

They’re known for creating contrast, mixing something very feminine with something more masculine or sporty. Ditte explains to Grazia Daily:
‘She’s the girl you see on the street on her bike, wearing a dress with a pair of sneaks. It’s easy, effortless’.
The brand has entered in a so called “sweet spot”, by making high quality garments considered luxury goods, but priced much lower than known high fashion brands. Their prices range between 150 euros and 350 euros on average but can go higher or lower. This includes coats, their famous dresses and even a pair of shoes. They really attained and maintained the luxury feel while making the brand feel attainable and affordable.
But where the real Hot Girl Summer comes into play is their upcoming collaboration with Ahluwalia.
It is a first advance in the world of womenswear for Ahluwalia, as the brand is a menswear brand founded by Indian-Nigerian designer Priya Ahluwalia in 2018. The Ganni and Ahluwalia match seems to be made in heaven, with the sporty and comfy vibe of Ganni mixing with Ahluwalia classic 90’s silhouettes.
