One tends to associate surf with idyllic views of beaches and dramatic coastlines, with the salty breeze in your lungs, and summertime. However, as you already might know, New Amsterdam Surf Association has proved that there’s more to surf than sun-kissed skin and pookah shells. They aren’t about the tropics, they’re about dark and cold waters. New Amsterdam Surf Association is back once again to reflect the harsh, less than ideal surf conditions of their home city with the clothes they design.
We have to say, we are simply in love with what this brand does. Just when you think they can’t surprise you anymore, round comes the next drop to prove you wrong!
They have now blown our minds away with their Autumn/Winter 2021 collection titled ‘Bad Habits’. Why ‘Bad Habits’ you ask? Well our dear friends, New Amsterdam Surd Association is taking inspiration from their very own hometown, Amsterdam.

New Amsterdam Surf Association’s AW21 concept then, is based on the stereotypes that foreigners and tourists in general often associate with the Dutch capital. Amsterdam does, after all, attract a certain type of tourism. Millions of people visit every year, many of them hoping to explore the depth of their bodily experiences under the influence of a variety of substances.
As you can see, the collection is a sight for sore eyes. Dynamic, vivacious colours, a universe of tie-dye and corduroy. Puffer jackets, joggers, neckwarmers and teddy beanies that make you say (and we can’t believe we’re saying this) “thank the universe for Winter”.
Now when we say that this is selling out fast, we mean that we are already rushing to get our hands on one of the pieces. Make sure to get yours here!
